I have always wanted to go to A.R.E. since reading about Edgar Cayce as a teenager, and I thought we'd spend an hour looking around and leave. We ended up spending the whole afternoon there! The center is something of an oddity, packed in amongst the tourist trap fanfare of a touristy boardwalk and beach. Yet it is one of the most interesting places to visit in Va Beach. My wife & I always include visits to the A.R.E. whenever we are in Virginia Beach. (This center carries on the work of noted healer and psychic Edgar Cayce.
