We have just came back from a week at the Marina Dor Apartments, Oropesa Del Mar. Firstly when arriving at the train station the place looked like a lovely Spanish resort, new bulidings but not too unspoilt with a mountain back view. We were unfortunate enough to book online an apartment at the Marina D'or complex . The accommodation was well appointed and functional. The complex was absolutely soulless. Line after line of red grey buildings all looking into each other. The beautiful beach, as advertised on the web site, was not in existence, only rubble and dirt which had spilled over... more

went to the resort a couple of years back when there was a lot of building going on and not impressed but could see the potential so when we went back this year truly impressed.
