Overall the Sands at Grace Bay was a great place for a short relaxing vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with a nice refreshing cup of rum punch. The beach at the resort was beautiful...perfectly blue seas with white powdery sand. There were two main pools (one really for children recreation... more

My wife and I spent 5 days at the Sands. The place is quite, well taken care of and overall we got very good value for our money. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quite Island experience. P.S. - I do not include photos as the those of the other travelers accurately reflect the place. more

Stayed at the Sands for a week to attend a wedding in August 2008. There was only 1 restaurant at the resort so you either eat there, go grocery shopping, or walk down the street to eat at the local restaurants. We didn't rent a car so getting around can be expensive...going down the island a couple miles if that... more

My fiance and I stayed at the Sands for a short 3-nights while we were escaping the cold weather for Thanksgiving. We were more than happy with our room (studio - garden view) and extremely impressed by the beach and grounds. We are occasional travelers, looking for peace and relaxation, not luxury and snobiness, and the Sands was perfect. Our... more

We loved this resort! All the resorts along the beach are beautiful but most seemed way out of our price range. This was small & unassuming, but very well maintained and very nice. The hotel staff was very helpful & kind and more than willing to chit chat about their island. The islanders are VERY proud of their island and... more

Because hurricane Ike forced us to change our plans, we settled on The Sands. It was not our 1st choice for Turks & Caicos due to negative reviews here on tripadvisor. Were they ever wrong! I have found that common courtesy, a smile, and treating people with respect goes a long way. We were treated wonderfully from the moment we... more

My sister and I traveled to The Sands 10/20/08. We had the 2 bedroom ocean view suite and contrary to some reviews, we did have a FULL ocean view. The suite was amazing. They are set up like condos in a time share. The balcony was screened in which is a plus to keep any bugs out. It was a... more

I loved the Sand at Grace Bay. It was beautiful. It was definitely a small and quaint resort. I do wish they had a larger spa available as well as room service. But, overall the people were wonderful and memorable. Especially Korna. I highly recommend. The beach was GEORGEOUS. The best I have ever seen. I will definitely return. more

The Sands is a wonderful place to stay in Provo. We have stayed before and love the location. The rooms are very nice and updated. The pool and garden area is beautiful and kept clean. The only problem we had was no housekeeping on our first day. We called the front desk no less than 10 times and they kept... more
