My husband and I stayed at Tres Casitas for 3 weeks last February and we loved it! The location couldn't be better and we loved having a glass of wine on the rooftop and looking out over San Miguel. The loft bed was also one of our favorite parts of the casita. The kitchen is well-furnished and there are lots... more

I've stayed in Tres Casitas so many times over the years it's like a home to me. The members of my family have stayed there as well. One year my entire family rented all the units -- parents in one, brother, sisters, nephews and nieces: each family had their own unit. It was memorable! What I love about the casitas... more

My wife and I had the privilege of staying in Nanci's studio, it was filled with her paintings, my wife is a painter so she really enjoyed the visit. We had a live jazz trio playing on the balcony next door, the bouganviella overflowed everything and it was January! We would definitely stay at #34 on our next visit. more

Tres Casitas is a perfect place to stay when visiting San Miguel. I spent 8 days there with my sister in February, and I loved every moment of my visit. Centrally located, it's a short walk to the Jardin and Parroquia along an ancient cobblestone street. The courtyard at Tres Casitas is lush and quiet and let's you know you've... more

Tres Casitas is in an ideal location, just two blocks from the town square. It fronts on a quiet and lovely street, but most of all I loved the bright colors of the casita's furniture and furnishings. I stayed two weeks at the casita by myself and was most comfortable with the kitchen, living room, desk and bedroom loft. The... more

I have stayed at Tres Casitas a number of times, and each time was an experience. I have been lucky enough to stay in all three of the apartments, and each one offers a delightful assortment of Mexican handicrafts, as well as original works of art by the very talented owner. Walking through the front entrance, you will find a... more

We stayed in the Casita #3 (Colonial) right before Christmas. It was ideally located to downtown and restaurants. This was our first visit to San Miguel and we hope to return again. We'd recommend the Tres Casitas, it was clean, comfortable, like coming home every night. Maria, the housekeeper is wonderful. Robert and Tamra Orlando more

I have stayed at Tres Casitas twice. It's location, 2 blocks from the jardin, galleries, fabulous restaurants, shopping -- could not be better. It's tastifully decorated and so unique. San Miguel de Allende is a wonderful city to visit and Tres Casitas is the place to stay. Last, but certainly not least, Maria could not have been more pleasant or... more

SMA was the highlight of an eight week stay. in Mexico. So much to see and do! The position and quality of our accommodation was delightful. The lower portion is spacious, the annexed bedroom giving added accomodation for our friends. Stairs are unavoidable but leading to our sun-trap garden complete with lemon tree in fruit one could recover with a... more
